"So I’ll cherish the old rugged cross, Till my trophies at last I lay down; I will cling to the old rugged cross, And exchange it some day for a crown."-George Bennard

Simple joys in life.
I love to take my grandsons to the cemetery, where there is a pond as well.
We have a fun time feeding the geese and ducks, and climbing on rocks, and enjoy the beauty of the Lord's earth.
And yet, we're in a cemetery with thousands of graves and tombstones.
But that's alright, because the Lord Jesus Christ has promised that "the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice and come forth--those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation". John 5:28-29
The Lord took my evil life and heart, and regenerated it by His marvelous grace and power. He convicted me, and brought me to the Cross of forgiveness. The Savior shed His precious blood for my sins, and He quickened me from the dead. His mercy found me in deep sin, and He pulled me out, and gave me His robe of righteousness. He did it all. I can now, by faith, walk in His grace and goodness. But He gets all the glory and honor.
So I am looking forward to Resurrection Day.
Jesus said, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. DO YOU BELIEVE THIS?" John 11:25-26
God is so good, and way too gracious!
