For His glory and our good.

I have a wonderful sister in my church who has cancer. Her husband and four daughters are fine examples of a Christian family.
Pam is such an encouager. She is very talented, and we have been serving the Lord together for the past 16 years.
My wife and I pray every day, and throughout the day that God would heal her. And that he would bless us with her presence here on earth for a long, long, time to come.

She is in His hands.

Jesus Christ loves her more than we all do, even her husband. And so she is in good hands, and was even before the cancer was found.
God knew the cancer would form in her. He is sovereign. Why did He allow it? I pondered this, and pondered it. And I realized He allowed it for His glory and for Pam's good. As crazy as that may sound.

And yet my heart aches for Pam, and her family. I cry out to the Lord for mercy, and ask Him to touch her body, and make this cancer disappear. I pray that He would fill her with wisdom, so that she will know how to proceed, with all the medical possibilities available. And I pray for her family to be strong in the Lord through this difficult trial.

If anyone does come here and reads this, please go to the throne of our Lord, and ask Him to send His mercy and grace upon Pam and her family. Thank you.
For His glory, and for Pam's good. Rom 8:28
