"So I’ll cherish the old rugged cross, Till my trophies at last I lay down; I will cling to the old rugged cross, And exchange it some day for a crown."-George Bennard

"And let them ... give light on the earth". gen. 1:15
I had a beautiful ride to the Eastern Shore the other morning. I saw rowing teams from the Naval Academy on the Severn River. And I saw the wonderful sunrise over the Chesapeake Bay, as I drove over the Bay Bridge.
It was quite a nice hour & an half drive, where I was able to spend time in prayer, and thinking about things, as I drove to Cambridge, which lies just across another bridge, the Choptank Bridge, to attend to a service order for my business.
It truly was a restful and contemplative time while enjoying God's creation. And I didn't see one speed trap set up by the state police. That's always a thank You Lord. Of course, I could simply just drive the speed limit.
