What a blessing Sunday is to us from God! The Sabbath was made for us, not us for the Sabbath.
I love to gather with Christ's Body and worship the Father in Spirit and truth. It's an honor that God would ever allow me to do this, after so many years of despising the Sabbath. But He had mercy on me, and brought me out of darkness into His marvelous light.
So now the demand of my God to be worshipped is a reality in my heart and life. If not for His mercy, then I would one day answer for not worshipping Him, and giving Him the glory he deserves and demands.
The bottom line is that I now love Him, because He first loved me, and rescued me, and even sought me, so that He would bring me into His kingdom of righteousness and love.
Just some thoughts i needed to write down before I headed out to rejoice in this mercy that rescued me from myself, and my sin.
