If the Lord allowed all to go to hell, and to be eternally seperated from Himself, would that make God any less loving than He is?
If God decided to condemn all, and then decided to save a few for Himself, would that make God unfair?
The Bible teaches that all deserve hell, and none deserve heaven. And yet God in His great mercy has forgiven those whom He elects to. This has nothing to do with fairness, nor merit. It's all about His mercy, and His great love.
God saves those whom He wills to, and He certainly does not owe this incredible mercy to any. That's what mercy is! It's mercy.
I praise Him for His mercy. I would be justly judged, and condemned to hell for all eternity if not for His mercy; His undeserved forgiveness of my sins; and His declaration of my being righteous in His sight: clothed with Christ's robe of righteousness.
And not only that, but I am an heir of His holy kingdom, along with Christ Jesus, my Lord and Savior.
And He does all this for the glory of His name, and for the glory and praise of His grace.
To Him be all honor forever and ever. Amen.
