" ... such is the nature of the ministers of Satan that they can make a goodly show that they are very charitable, humble, lovers of concord, and are endued with other fruits of the Spirit; also, they protest that they seek nothing else but the glory of God and the salvation of men's souls, and yet are they full of vainglory, doing all things for no other end but to get praise and estimation among men. To be short, they think that godliness is gain, and that the ministry of the Word is delivered unto them that they may get fame and esteem. Wherefore they cannot but be authors of dissensions and sects." - Martin Luther
Though this was written nearly 500 years ago, it's very suitable for our day. And it always shall be, until our Lord returns, and He seperates the tares from the wheat.
" ... when God sends forth laborers into His harvest, sooner or later Satan raises up his ministers also, who will in no wise be counted inferior to those that are rightly called. Here rises dissension. The wicked will not yield one hair's breadth to the godly; for they dream that they far surpass them in wit, in learning, in godliness, in spirit and other virtues." -Luther
This could be anyone really. We need to be wise as snakes and harmless as doves. The Church is full of leaven, and we need to be about our wits. We need to be in the Word, and in prayer. We need to be in a church, where we can know the leadership and see them. Satan is out to deceive each and every church in the world, and he has the army to do it. But the gates of hell shall not prevail. Amen.
