"And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly." Rom. 16:20"

"Hence I am willing to do my duty ... to stir up my brethern in Christ against the wiles and malice of Satan, who in these last days has become so infuriated at the recovery of the sound knowledge of Christ, that it now seems as if the demons themselves are possessed by worse demons and raving with more than demonic madness--

Let the minister of Christ know, I say, that as long as he preaches Christ purely, there will be no lack of perverse persons, even among our own people, who will make it their business to cause trouble in the Church. And he may comfort himself with the thought that there is no peace between Christ and Belial, or between the Seed of the woman and the seed of the Serpant. Indeed, he may rejoice in the trouble he is caused by sects and the constant succesion of seditious spirits. For this is our glory, the testimony of our conscience that we are found standing and fighting on the side of the Seed of the woman against the seed of the Serpant. Let him bite our heel and never cease biting; we for our part will not cease to crush his head through Christ, the first to crush it, who is blessed forever. Amen." -Martin Luther 1535

The world, the devil, and mostly our flesh, never give in, do they.
But how much greater is our God? He is "A Mighty Fortress".

Thanks for stopping by Jazzy.

I think I remember having that kid in my class many years ago. Heh, heh.

Hey, is this "Email follow-up comments to [email address]" a new general feature on all of our posts, or something you added on?

Craver, I didn't add nutin. I'm not sure what you're talking about, to tell you the truth.
I guess that says something about me, don't it.

If you start to leave a comment some place other than your own blog, like JD's for example, look for this new feature under the comment text box. Wait... I already know that it's at JD's. I really want to know if it showed up on mine.

Happy Reformation Day!
