Jesus said: "You have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you, and appointed you, that you should go and bring forth fruit, and your fruit should remain" (John 15:16a).
The Lord is sovereign in our hearts, minds, and lives. "From life's first cry, to my final breath, Jesus commands my destiny."
Jesus also said: "..That whatsoever you shall ask of the Father in My name, He may give it to you" (John 15:16b).
And we need to be living by faith in Christ, His words, and promises.
We need to be praying to our Father in Jesus' name for His grace and wisdom to fill our hearts, minds, and lives; never to lose heart.
So lets take our prayers and requests, all day long, to a loving heavenly Father, who is working all things togther for our good, and most of all, for His glory: Those of us who have been called, and who love Him, and love the Savior.
Have a blessed weekend, and especially Lord's day!

John goes on to say in 1 John 2:27, "But as his anointing teaches you about all things and as that anointing is real, not counterfeit--just as it has taught you, remain in him."
Thank God for his Holy Spirit who continually draws us toward the Father and the Son so that we might live continually in his presence. May we be sensitive to his quiet urgings so that we might not be led astray!
