"But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness" Matt. 6:33

"For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it." -Jesus Christ (Matt. 16:25)

George Harrison's original manuscript (1969)-

This song is from an Hindu perspective most certainly, and yet, the heartfelt thought is not so far from the Gospel, is it. It's a subtle distortion. Still, the sentiment from George is a good one I thought.

How I wish George, and the other Beatles would have embraced Christ; and the good news of His death and resurrection. But they were deceived by many things, including the Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, and went their own way.
And yet, I can pray for Paul and Ringo, for it's not too late for them to come to Christ, and find remission for their sins; as I have, through His amazing grace. God is not partial. All who cry out to Him, and trust in His Son, Jesus Christ, shall be granted forgiveness of all their sin.

The Lord Jesus said to Paul: "I am sending you to open their eyes, so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in me.’" Acts 26:18

PS BTW, this was a very well done video. Kudos to the artist!

this makes me sad to the point of tears ... and hopeful too, because you are right: it is too late for those who are gone but we can pray for those who remain.

I wonder how many pray for Ringo and Paul? Do we just think they are nice lads and God will surely accept them?

No. They need to go to Christ, and ask Him for His grave and mercy, and then He will approach the Father, and present our souls washed in his precious blood, clean and sinless, and also robed in His righteousness.
What a savior and Lord Jesus is!

Good to see you Yasmin.
