"They must be silenced, since they are upsetting whole families by teaching for filthy lucre's sake what they ought not to teach." Titus 1:11

"I appeal to you, brothers, to watch out for those who cause divisions and create obstacles contrary to the doctrine that you have been taught; avoid them. For such persons do not serve our Lord Christ, but their own appetites, and by smooth talk and flattery they deceive the hearts of the naive." (Romans 16:17-18)

What I think is good about this brother marking and exposing these false teachers, is that he actually went to eight Benny Hinn concerts, and saw first hand the deception.
Well done my brother. I'm sure the Lord is pleased with the gentle way he has confronted fasle disciple.

May the Lord draw His children away from these phoney baloney teachers, as they are exposed for what they truly are. Amen.

To anyone who might charge that he has pulled things out of context, I would ask, did they have to supply so much ammunition? It is shocking to see how evident and blatantly overt their error is delivered. It turns my stomach to see thousands of smiling faces sitting there, accepting all of that talk.

Recently, someone tried to steer a conversation from guarding against false teaching, to suggesting we take a look at what truth we should be guarding. To my way of thinking... ALL truth! Truth is truth, and I don't think it's okay to be sloppy with the handling of any Scripture. Where does God's Word allow us to pick and choose which parts we believe and teach?!

I'm ranting. Good post. Keep shining the pure light of the gospel.

As I re-read my comment, I thought I'd clarify, just in case someone reads this who doesn't know me. Justin's teaching is spot-on. It's the prosperity preachers and their following that are messed up.

Absolutely Craver. The Church needs to "live by every word that proceeds" from the mouth of our Lord. Jesus told us that. But, there are many who twist the Holy Writ. There are many who are indifferent to God's Word, and simply pick and choose there personal favorite truth. And there are those who try and bury you in their self-righteous knowledge of the Bible: they are puffed-up. Actually we are all puffed-up in our own thinking and understanding to some point. But when we admit it, then we know God's grace is working on us, and we have a chance to love the Lord, and our neighbor in the whole truth of God.

I really believe a genuine child of God will love His Word, because God wrote it for us; and it is His heart opened up for us. What a Father we do have in heaven!

Thanks for dropping by bro.

Hi Don;
It is frightening to hear that kind of preaching.
Perhaps, it is just like Jesus said, "If the blind leads the blind both fall into the pit".

On the other hand, I am glad that you expose that kind of deceptive and destructive teaching.
Lots of love
Paul

O Lord, help me not to despise or oppose what I do not understand. ~William Penn

Don't let your 'trinity' become God the Father, the Son and the Holy Scripture....(I don't remember who said that).

There are two words from The Lord - the Word that He wrote (our Bible) and the Word that He speaks....

There are those who believe the Bible literally as it is written...(at least they say they do)...but if that were the case - there should be a lot of people in the church today with no eyes and one hand. ( Matthew 18:8-9). And there are those who believe the Bible to be the living Word of God...(Hebrews 4:12)

While - yes there are many false teachings and many mislead people proliferating these teachings....I know however, they [the world] will know that I am a follower of Christ by my love....(John 13:35).

Wow ... that's all I can say! I don't ever listen to these preachers because I know their theology is way off but wow, the stuff in that video IS way off. And all these people just taking it in ... "little gods" indeed!

Paula White & Guest: "Jesus is not the only begotten Son of God" - what blasphemy!

With all these 'wolves' out there, we definitely NEED discernment ... come on, let's dust off those Bibles and start getting into the Word of God!
