"But the dreams I've seen lately Keep on turning out and burning out And turning out the same "

I enjoy the Eagles music. They always seem to put a bit more in their lyrics then most bands: And they are expert musicians: And I like the Rock/Folk/Country sound.

As I listen to their songs I tend to think a bit deeper. And I almost always think about my salvation, and how Christ saved such a sinner as I, when I'm listening to good music. I don't know why that is.

Anyhow, I enjoy the Eagles. Growing up I had all their LP's, except their Greatest Hits. Never liked the greatest hits albums, because I already had all their songs.

BTW: My favorite LP was "Desperado".

PS Randy Meisner, the bassist for the Eagles in their early days, was featured as lead vocalist on this cut, on the original LP: 'One of These Nights'. Glen Frey sings it here. They co-wrote the song.

That is rather amusing... I was just watching this video at a friend's house last month! They really know how to finesse a song. The instruments don't just play their own thing through the whole song; they play what's needed, when it's needed. Plus, these guys exercise good control in their lead vocals and harmonies. It's the kind of group that you can listen to with a discerning ear and still enjoy it thoroughly.

It's nice to hear quality music. The Lord surely created music to enjoy.

And music can be used by Satan for sure. Been there. But it has to do more with the lyrics than the music. In fact all music is really neutral, as far as I can see, and hear.

Thanks for popping by Craver.
