"Thank God I'm A Country Boy", a tradition we have at Baltimore Oriole baseball games.

They play this song at the 7th inning stretch, at every Orioles home game. They started this, back in the 70's, when they used to have just organ music, but expanded to popular music. Mark Belanger, the shortstop, was the player who suggested "Thank God I'm a Country Boy", by John Denver. he was actually a friend of Denver, I think.

And John Denver came to the 1983 World Series in Baltimore, when we played the Philadelphia Phillies, (and beat them in 5 games, BTW), (our last world championship, ugh, BTW), and sang the song live on top of the dugout.
