"Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours." _Jesus (Mk. 11:24)

My daughter, Stephanie, is going for a Sonogram tomorrow morning. This will be her fourth child. She has three sons, Joshua 10, Matthew 7, and Noah 5.

I have been praying for a girl, --in a Thy will be done sort of way. I talked with my son-in-law the other night and said, "I have been praying for a girl." He said, "Well, it is what it is."

I wonder though: For the Lord said, "whatever you ask in prayer".

If I am praying for a girl, with a humble heart, could the Lord make that happen, even if the baby is a boy right now? I guess that is kind of a silly statement. But we know God can do whatever He wants, and he saod "whatever you ask."

Another thought is My prayer for Steph to have a girl, was even before Steph became pregnant, and so my prayers even now may possibly are being answered, even though they were answered months ago.

Or perhaps, I shouldn't have in the first place prayed for a girl.

I remember when I went to Steph's Sonogram for Noah, and how I longed for a girl back then, but the picture showed a boy, Noah to be exact. I was very disappointed to be honest. But now, I can not imagine this world, or universe, without Noah Hudson Shive. He is an incredible blessing and boy.

So that is my "just rambling a bit tonight", because I needed to. Ah, I feel better now. It's nice to have a blog.

If you read this, could you pray for my daughter and her baby, that the Lord would bless: Just bless with His powerful and tender hand and His wonderful presence is all. Thanks and gracias.

Oh yes, we have a pool. We are the envy of the neighborhood.

Thanks Craver.

He is a boy. FOUR BOYS!

To be honest I was disappointed. But now I am excited, as I should be.

May it please our Heavenly Father to pour out his grace upon this little man, and may he be filled with the Spirit to be used mightily to the glory of Christ Jesus. And may he bring peace and joy to his parents... and yes, even his grandparents.
