"For ’twas on that old cross Jesus suffered and died, To pardon and sanctify me."

"O that old rugged cross,
so despised by the world,
Has a wondrous attraction for me;
For the dear Lamb of God left His glory above
To bear it to dark Calvary."-
George Bennard, 1913

I shall ever be mindful of Christ's cross, because He gave Himself for me, and He sought me, and brought me to His cross. How that humbles me. For I am such a filthy sinner, and yet, I am certain that Christ came into the world to save a sinner like me.
He receives all glory and honor.

" Not to us, O Lord, not to us, but to your name give glory,
for the sake of your steadfast love and your faithfulness!"
Psalm 115:1
