"...so that the world may know that you sent me and loved them even as you loved me." -Jesus, praying to His Father in the garden.

Our Lord's final prayer,-right before He was to suffer and die for His Father's glory, and for sinners like you and me,-is truly a look into the deepest part of Jesus' heart.
In the other Gospels it tells us that Jesus sweat blood, and was in great anguish as He asked His Father to remove this cup He was called to drink. What a Savior! Jesus is pure love and pure goodness. Yet, we hate Him, and so we killed Him. And the Father allows us, and actually predetermined that we would kill His Son. All this wickedness on our part, God turned into great glory for Himself, and mercy and forgiveness for us.
He made Christ to become sin, and a sin offering. Jesus the Lamb of God also was made a curse for us.
There's no other way to be forgiven for our sins, other than come to Jesus Christ and trust in Him with all that we are: our whole heart, mind, soul, and strength.

So, if you have never cried out to Jesus, who died on a Cross, and rose from the dead, and then ascended into heaven, and is with God the Father even now, then call to Him today. Ask Him to help you. Ask Him to cleanse you. Ask for His grace and forgiveness. Jesus loves to have sinners repent and believe.
