This is the day God saved me. Jesus laid down His life, and He gave up His authority to protect Himself against wicked hateful people, so that He would be the Lamb of God, who would become sin, and be made a curse for sinners like me.
Thank You Lord Jesus for suffering such excruciating pain for my sins. Thank You Father for taking Your Son to Calvary and offering Him to Yourself for my sins, and for my accursedness. I am unworthy of Your love even now, and yet because You loved me, and died for me, I am now alive in Christ, because You sought me, and brought me to Yourself. Thank You Lord. Amen.
"Alas! and did my Savior bleed
And did my Sovereign die?
Would He devote that sacred head
For a worm such as I?"
