If we do anything without love it's bogus and empty. 1st Corinthians 13:1-4

"If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give away all I have, and if I deliver up my body to be burned, but have not love, I gain nothing."-The inspired Word of God, through His Apostle Paul


I was thinking about these words from our Lord and it hit me that this love, is not just any love. This is the love of Christ (Ephesians 3:14-19). This is a love that is motivated from a love for Jesus. And so, in turn, we love others because we love Christ. And the only reason we love Christ is because God first loved us (1st John 4:10). And this love that God loved us with is seen in all it's power, affection, and fullness when we go to Calvary and look upon our Savior, and see how He laid down His life, first and foremost for His Father, but also for us, those whom He has elected to have mercy upon, and whom He loved with His great love (Ephesians 2:4).

Thank You Lord Jesus.
Thank You Father.
Thank You Holy Spirit.
My life can not improve upon the everlasting love You love me with. I am humbled and grateful beyond knowledge. Praise You Lord, forever and ever! Amen.
