It's absolutely impossible to love my enemy, isn't it? And yet, I must. And I can, if I live by faith in Christ, and ask for His grace and Spirit to give me the love and power to do this for His glory. I shall fail many, many times in this life, and perhaps obey my Lord a few times. But even when I obey Him I can never take the credit for a work well done, for it is His grace that is at work in me, and not myself. What a terrific Savior! How I love Jesus! His forgiveness is better than life!
