The name of the LORD is a strong tower; the righteous man runs into it and is safe. (Proverbs 18:10 ESV)

I am going through such a heavy season right now. I am in trouble with the way my brain is working, and seem to be having memory loss, and perhaps seizures.

And as I read the Word this morning i was encouraged, and I prayed for my Savior and Abba Father to help me. And then I listened to Pastor John, and his words about John Patton, the missionary did fill my heart, and my mind, with hope and even some joy.

Thank You Lord for loving me. Thank You for Your ministers You have placed in this world, and in Your Church. Amen.

Don

I knew this was an issue in the past. Had no sense it was ongoing. Lisa and I will set aside time to pray for you today! We love you and Patti very much. This video is vintage Piper and I love how much the Word has always meant to you Don.

Oh, but that is so rich to know that this benefit that Piper speaks of... this state of knowing that God will be with us... this incredible satisfaction...

It is not for an elite group of super-performers, but for the man or woman who is totally the Lord's. It is for the humble servant of our great King. Hallelujah!

Don, I am still praying for you. Even in your times of difficulty, you are so blessed, and you are a blessing! I appreciate you, my brother!
