"So I’ll cherish the old rugged cross,
Till my trophies at last I lay down;
I will cling to the old rugged cross,
And exchange it some day for a crown."-George Bennard

An unusual sound Buffett had. Not really another artist like him. I love his smoothness, and a handful of his songs are excellent.
This is one of my favorites. Back when I was in the flesh, the world, and with the devils of this age, I loved all Jimmy's music, and had most of his LPs. But his theme too many times was ungodly, and so I had to set him apart. I still enjoy listening to him, especially in the summer.
That voice is as smooth as milk chocolate. I wonder if he is as mellow and easy-to-get-along-with in real life. I hope so. And who knows, but that the Lord may have chosen this man for salvation. May someone share the Good News with Jimmy.

Good thoughts Craver. I'm pretty sure Jimmy has a temper. And he needs Christ, and he needs to have that merciful conversion sinners like us have had.
Thanks for dropping by my good friend.
"...he needs to have that merciful conversation sinners like us have had."
...or he needs to get knocked on his tookus like the apostle Paul (lol).
Amen brother.
