"Forbid it Lord that I should boast, Save in the death of Christ my God."

Galatians 6:14 is a verse from the Apostle Paul that is always in my heart, and yet, I so often allow pride and self to rule my day. What a sad thing. And yet, I am Christ's own, and he has taken all my sins upon Himself, and I am as forgiven and pure as I will ever be.

All praise, all praise, all praise to Jesus, our Savior, God, and Friend!

"But far be it from me to boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.

(Galatians 6:14 ESV)

The doctrines of imputation--The guilt and consequences of Adam's sin which was applied to all of Adam's seed, my own sin credited to Christ, and the Lord's righteousness reckoned to his redeemed--this all causes me to boast on Him and not myself.

Amen brother. There's nothing in the universe to compare with this truth, and promise of God our Savior.

Have a great 4th my good friend.
