" When the angels went away from them into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, “Let us go over to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has made known to us.” And they went with haste and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby lying in a manger."----Luke, the Doctor, and called to record this holiest of all events.

This is one of my favorite Christmas hymns. Chris does a fine worshipful version here. Take time to worship along. be blessed and filled with joy, and rejoice in the truth of His love!

That's my all-time favorite Christmas song! There is a special kind of reverence that this song demonstrates. It gives me the impression of God's resplendent glory, and how it spills over, and is reflected back by all of creation. The melody does a fine job of communicating the sense of awe that we ascribe to our Lord.
