There's such a mixture of wordliness and God in our culture today, don't you think. I pray the Church would hate the darkness, and love the light. As John the Apostle tells: "God is light, and in Him is no darkness. If we walk in the dark, and say we have "fellowship" with God, we lie.... But if we walk in the "light" we have "fellowship".

Some very fine performances at the 2013 Inauguration, for sure. JT is one of my all time favorite artist. But, there was, it seemed to me, too much "surface", and not the digging down into the dirt, and bringing up the problems we are having, the huge debt, etc.

I have a big problem with the sugar-coated speech. Sad, our nation has a President who wants more and more Government to take care of things. Instead of having us live Free and thankful lives.

A lot different than JFK, when he said, "Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country."

I hope in 2016 Rand Paul may run for President, and win. I hope.

Barak said: "Our journey is not complete until our gay brothers and sisters are treated like anyone else under the law – for if we are truly created equal, then surely the love we commit to one another must be equal as well."
Sad that he didn't say: "I believe two men have the right to be married, just as a woman and a man do. Or two womenn have the right to be married."
Oh well, most Americans know where he is coming from.

Sad: That 50% of us agree that marriage should include homosexuals and lesbians.

Lord, we know Your Word doesn't speak the same as our leaders are in our day. Have mercy on us, and help us repent, and turn back to You and Your truth, and the Gospel. Especially the Church, for the world is dead in it's sin, and the world loves darkness, but Your Church needs to hate the sin, and love the truth, for this is what blesses and pleases You Lord Jesus! Amen.
