I saw Phil back in 1985 at Merriweather Post Pavilion, here in Maryland. I was given free tickets from my boss, where I worked for an Anheuser Busch distributer as a warehouseman, and a driver and beer salesman.
It was a terrific concert, and I had just had a spiritual awakening, and God was working in my heart to put me in the light, and take me from the darkness.
I remember Phil walking about on the stage, and he was singing this song, and then he gradually traveled over to the drums and climbed up on behind them and he played the drums as he sang the rest of the song. A terrific song, and a great artist.
I pray he will one day come to know Christ, and serve Him. Amen.
