"So I’ll cherish the old rugged cross, Till my trophies at last I lay down; I will cling to the old rugged cross, And exchange it some day for a crown."-George Bennard

Jesus said, “For judgment I came into this world, that those who do not see may see, and those who see may become blind. John 9:39
I really liked Bryan when I was a young Christian, (and still do). But our tastes es change, don't they. (Some tastes do remain the same, and there's a whole post in that thought, so I'll leave it for now.)
I saw Bryan in concert a few times and was always blessed by his performance, and his encouragement in the truth and gospel. He had an honest sense of humor, and yet he was a serious Christian up on the stage as well.
This song really convicted me.
This line here says a lot about my heart:
"Said there were no secrets,
buried in the sand
Standing in the canyon,
I dug with my own two hands
No needs to help me,
alone I'm doin fine
I can live without love,
I can manage my own sweet time"
"all I can do is tell the truth I lied to you
to hide the truth from myself"
