This song brought back some childhood memories. Good ones. And not so good ones as well. It was a mixed bag of happy and sad Christmas' growing up. I guess I was 12-13 years old when this song came out. Teen years and Christmas had the struggles and yet blessings, even though I was not serious about the Lord, but was basically self-serving. I did have my Catholic upbringing, and a sort of involvement with the Church and religion.
I thank our Lord that He brought me out of the darkness, and into His marvelous light, so that i can love and serve Him.
