"So I’ll cherish the old rugged cross, Till my trophies at last I lay down; I will cling to the old rugged cross, And exchange it some day for a crown."-George Bennard

"But however much I booze, . . . . And however much I squirm, there ain't no way out!"
Here's a song that shows the frustration, even of a man who is on top of the world. I have to believe he is sharing his heart here, though not completely.
The words here are well written to ponder upon, and then, I can say, Jesus has given me my Way out. He is the Way.
There is a way out Pete, and Roger, and all sinners who identify with this tune: Jesus is the Way. Wow. Jesus says: "Come unto me, if you are weary and heavy laden, I will give you rest and peace, and help you, if you repent, and admit you are a failure, and a sinner, and need me."
Come even now.
