"So I’ll cherish the old rugged cross,
Till my trophies at last I lay down;
I will cling to the old rugged cross,
And exchange it some day for a crown."-George Bennard
"Stuff of earth competes for the allegiance I owe only to the Giver of all good things." Man, that line really rung my bell!
When I think of Rich Mullins, I know that he has already been eulogized, but Genesis 5:24 comes to mind: "And Enoch walked with God, and he was no longer, for God had taken him." This is not to be received in the sense of a proper exegetical interpretation of the passage, but just that it causes a similar chord to resound inside me, if that makes any sense.
Good thoughts Craver my friend. I agree. And I long for our Lord's return, and so we might see Him in all His glory; but also so that we may be with our brothers, Rich and Enoch.

What I mean is that Rich Mullins walked with God, and then the Lord took him before his time, as it were.

I am the anonymous there Craver. I tried to comment on my office Computer, which is brand new, and I ran into some difficulty.
Thanks very much for dropping by my good brother. I am always edified in your wisdom and heartfelt words.
