Fasting and praying

My wife and I shall be fasting and praying this Reformation Day; along with many others I'm sure. Steve Camp put the invitation out, and I'm believeing that many saints will be offering supplications to the throne tomorrow.

My heart burns for the Truth to be proclaimed in our nation. The Gospel in all it's power and purity must be the cry of the Church in this dark generation. This will be my simple request of the Lord.
People will hate it of course when the Gospel is preached; but God will be pleased and honored.
We need to take courage, and trust that the Lord will do a mighty work in our nation. His holy name is to be declared, and we need to be about doing the most important work in the universe.

And I believe it begins with earnest prayer. The Lord says if we abide in Him, and His word abides in us, we only need to ask what we desire, and it shall be done. John 15:7 What a promise! I'm sure there are many who have been praying, and are praying even now, and who will continue to pray.
Maybe this prayerful day before the Lord will actually be the day when our Lord causes His face to shine upon us, That His way may be known on earth, and His salvation in our nation. Psalm 67:1-2

"Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me?" Jer. 32:27
