"I Hate That I love Sin".
"In truth, every Christain, who has not been seduced by the superficial tactics and magical pixie dust of childish Christain gurus from evangelical Neverland, knows full well that there is more to living the Christian life than reading the latest Christian self-help book. ... What makes us different from the watching world of sinners is not that we don't sin but that we hate our sin, repent of our sin, and earnestly seek to mortify our sin that has been taken to the Cross and placed upon our Savior who atoned for our sin --- and all this to the glory of God." - Burk Parsons
I agree with Burk. But I think I need to take it one step further for me personally.
I hate that I love sin.
I am strong in some ways, and yet so weak in others. I struggle with lust, and pride, and timidity.
God is working in me. And His grace is sufficient. I do long to obey His law, and yet I serve my flesh as well. Romams 7
I hope and pray that I will grow in His grace and knowledge this coming year, and that I will walk with Christ in a higher degree of godliness, and righteousness, which is bore from being connected to Him. I'm a branch, and He's the vine.
2007 may be a hard road, but I'm pressed to walk it with my Savior and Lord, and rely on His power, love, truth, and grace, in order to bear fruit for His glory, and the glory of our heavenly Father.

I struggle too. But I am confident in Him to take them away from me.
Good post.
