Till my trophies at last I lay down;
I will cling to the old rugged cross,
And exchange it some day for a crown."-George Bennard

"for You have magnified Your Word above all Your name" Psalm 138:2
Two new bibles out there for consumption. It really brings forth the sacredness of the Holy LORD's Word, doesn't it. I feel ill. How bad is it going to get?
(heavy sigh) Man, I love it that we have lots of different choices when it comes to purchasing Bibles. Wide Margin, study aids, compact, interlinear, pocket NT's, etc.
Now, I consider myself to be an American patriot... but the Bible is the Bible. And this Green Bible?? I think I'm gonna lurch.

The Shack Study Bible
The Love Dare study Bible
The CCM Study Bible (what your favorite Christian singers have to say about their favorite passages.)
The American Idol Study Bible (what your favorite Christian contestants have to say about their Favorite passages)

I 'm with you Craver.
I think we can revere the Bible and continue to make it good, and all that, but some of this is sick.
I'm for what gets folk into the bible whatever the cause, as long as it doesnt rewrite the actual WORD!
Greg thats pretty funny!
The Scriptures have to keep their sacredness, and yet God does want us to freely read, study and ponder His truth.
Seems there's a fine line to walk to me.
Thanks for dropping by mommanator.
