"But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God,...the judge of all, and to the spirits of the righteous made perfect." Heb. 12:22

"O mighty Master, with what strange moral alchemy did you work to turn that morose-disappointed man into a mass of love! How did You work to lift that selfish Mammonite up from his hoarded gains to make him find his gain in You? How did you overcome that proud spirit, that fickle spirit, that lazy spirit, that lustful spirit--how did You contrive to take all these away? How did You extirpate the very roots of sin, and every little rootlet of sin, out of Your redeemed, so that not a tiny fiber can be found?" -CH Spurgeon

The Christian surely will struggle in this age against sin. If you don't, then you're probably not a Christian.
Paul wrote to the Christians in Galatia: "For the desires of the flesh are against the Spirit, and the desires of the Spirit are against the flesh, for these are opposed to each other, to keep you from doing the things you want to do."

And so we can be encouraged with this truth. When our hearts condemn us, and they shall, God is greater than our hearts. The Cross of Jesus; His death for our sins; and His perfect life imputed to us, can never be touched, nor altered. His love for His dearly beloved is everlasting and forever.

And Paul also wrote to the Galatia Christians: "But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh."

So we are to walk in faith, never our own flesh, in order to walk in love, and so do the will of God. We pray trusting that Christ will hear our prayer, and in fact it's His grace that enables us to pray in the first place, and so we then are filled with the Holy Spirit(Ghost) and able to please our Lord and Savior.

Spurgeon's thoughts are concerning the New Earth and Heavens, and how then the Christian soul will be sinless and perfect. Then we will not even know what sin is any longer!
How I long for that day to come.

"The Spirit and the Bride say, “Come.” And let the one who hears say, “Come.”"

"He who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming soon.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus!"

"The grace of the Lord Jesus be with all. Amen." (Rev. 22:17,20,&21)
