Another post for the Day. I've posted this one before, but I thought Matt Redman has given us such a fine song here, so here it is again.

“Many pretend to keep the atonement, and yet they tear the bowels out of it. They profess to believe in the gospel, but it is a gospel without the blood of the atonement; and a bloodless gospel is a lifeless gospel, a dead gospel, and a damning gospel”-Charles Spurgeon

I have heard this bloodless gospel. It was even on the cover of a popular "Christian" magazine. It is a different gospel, and it has no true hope to offer a soul that longs to be saved.

A side note: Do you think Matt Redman bears a slight resemblance to Martin Luther?

Yeah, come to think of it, if we could put that Luther funky lookin' hat on Matt, he would look a lot like Martin.

He seems to have the same passion for the Savior too.

Good to hear from you Craver.
